How to send your research data to the Danish National Archives
Find out how to hand in your research data.
Physical mail or email
You must send your research data as Registered Mail or deliver it personally at:
Rigsarkivet, Digital Preservation, Testværkstedet
Kalvebod Brygge 34
1560 København V.
You must write your caseworker’s name on the attention line.
If your data contains sensitive personal data or other types of sensitive information, you must encrypt it. You can encrypt your data with BitLocker or VeraCrypt.
The password needed to decrypt the data, must be sent separately to mailbox@rigsarkivet.dk.
If there is no sensitive personal information in your data, you can send it to the Danish National Archives via secure email or regular email to mailbox@rigsarkivet.dk.
You can only send your data via email, if the amount of data is no greater than 25 MB.
When we receive your delivery, we will send you a receipt.
