The Management Secretariat is the link between the Danish National Archives and the Ministry of Culture. The unit supports the Danish National Archives' board of directors and management and is responsible for PR & communications.
About the Management Secretariat
The Management Secretariat is responsible for supporting the National Archives’ management, including the executive board and other leaders, in creating the best possible basis for decision-making.
The unit also serves as a liaison between the National Archives and the Ministry of Culture, providing input for the political work in the Ministry of Culture’s department.
The Management Secretariat is responsible for executive support, contributions to strategy and business development, including legal advice, as well as follow-up on strategy and task portfolios.
Additionally, the Management Secretariat is responsible for the National Archives’ Communication Strategy and internal and external communication, press handling, and research strategy.
Tasks of the Management Secretariat include
- Quality assurance and process management of executive matters.
- Follow-up on strategy and task portfolio.
- Policy development and case handling in relation to the Ministry of Culture.
- Research management, research strategy development, and follow-up.
- Support for fundraising and an overview of sponsors and stakeholders.
- Press and communication plans supporting business strategy.
- Legal support for business strategy.
- Guidance on heraldic questions.
